ALL CDAS BEATS REMAIN CLOSED 13/08/22

Unfortunately the current forecast hot weather is set to continue for a little while longer, even with the possibility of some rain forecast early next week. We anticipate that water temperatures will remain in excess of the recommended 20°C threshold to allow beats to be opened for fishing. As such :-

The CDAS committee have concluded that we need to continue on with the suspension to all fishing on all society beats until conditions allow otherwise.

Please be assured that we will, however, continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will review and update our decision as and when appropriate.

We will contact all society members again when the suspension of fishing is lifted. If you need up to date information please check the status of our beats above.

Please be assured that your Committee always have our Membership in mind when making such decisions, and as soon as water temperatures have dropped sufficiently to ensure fish are no longer at risk, we will reopen our beats.
